Roy Gargett, (1931-2015), oil on canvas painting of First World War Bristol F2 Fighter Plane.
Resident artist Chatham Art Centre 1989-2001. Gargett joined the RAF in 1945 as a flying cadet and flew Tiger Moths. He later served with the Royal observer corps, gaining an interest for painting planes from First World War to modern planes.
