Fine early antique watercolour miniature style portrait of man dressed, presumably as courtier, in fifteenth century fashion. This antique costume portrait/ fashion portrait is finely painted, showing the courtly dress of the subject in all its detail. He wears a fur trimmed skirted doublet with girdle and Chaperone hat, possibly Italian or Burgundian dress or costume. Monogrammed.
