Andrew Hutchinson was born in Guisborough, North Yorkshire in 1961. Â He completed an apprenticeship in joinery and a Diploma course in graphics and illustration and worked as an archaeological illustrator.
Andrew has exhibited his work alongside top international wildlife artists and is a member of the Royal Society of Miniature Artists, Sculptors and Gravers, receiving the “HRH Prince of Wales Award for Outstanding Miniature Painting” and the “Anthony Lester Art Critics Award” at the Mall Galleries in 2021. He has been commissioned as an illustrator by companies such as Jersey Post, Bacardi, Penguin Books, HarperCollins, Land Rover, Barclays Bank, Marks and Spencer and the New York Botanical Gardens. He is well known for producing the wonderful Yorkshire Tea brand packaging.
